Merger of DIGROUP companies: four companies – one strategy, one vision

The merger of DIGROUP companies is a step that marks a significant change in the Lithuanian lighting, interior and architectural solutions market. The competencies, experiences and teams of four separate companies now operate as a single organism – DIGROUP. This change not only allows us to operate more efficiently, but also opens up new opportunities for customers and partners.

“One day I realized that I had four e-mails… and one vision. To implement it, I had to join forces,” says DIGROUP CEO Danas Azikejev. “The merger of DIGROUP companies was a natural step in preparing for growth and strengthening the structure.”

Why was the decision made to merge DIGROUP companies?

The decision to merge the four companies was born from practical and strategic incentives. The CEO reveals that the management of the group of companies required structural changes that would allow for more efficient organization of operations and preparation for the holding's expansion.

The merger of DIGROUP companies allows us to consolidate resources and competencies, create a strong, clear corporate identity, compete not at the product level, but at the level of complex solutions, and make decisions and implement projects faster. “Our goal is not to compete with a lamp or a chair, but to offer the client a whole - from lighting, furniture to technical solutions in one place,” says the manager. “There is almost no such service chain in Lithuania.”

What unites these companies?

Although the companies had different brands and specializations, they were united by common values - high quality standards, attention to design, and a responsible approach to the customer.

The merger of DIGROUP companies refined these values and allowed them to become the basis for further development.

DIGROUP today: clear direction and ambitious vision

DIGroup positions itself as one of the leading providers of integrated solutions in the Baltic States. The company's activities are based on three key principles:

  • Innovation – continuous implementation of technologies in lighting and furniture systems
  • Sustainability – a responsible approach to production, raw materials and partners
  • Partnership – long-term, respectful relationships with customers

The team works with architects, interior designers, real estate developers and business clients not only in Lithuania but also abroad.

What's next after the merger of DIGROUP companies?

The short-term goal is to form a clear identity in the market, based not on individual products, but on the whole. In the long-term perspective, expansion: both into new areas (doors, skirting boards, textiles) and through company acquisitions.

“I want to create a ‘sandbox’ where the best specialists come to play, because this is where the best sand and toys are,” the manager says metaphorically. “The merger of DIGROUP companies is just the beginning.”

The human aspect

For the manager, this change is a kind of test of capabilities. "First practice, then theory, then practice again. It's learning to manage processes, people, and synergy between generations."

He also emphasizes the desire to connect the younger generation, which shines with ambition and digitality, with the older generation, which is characterized by responsibility and consistency. "If we can unite these generations into one team, we will create an organization that will be not only efficient, but also human."

The merger of DIGROUP companies is more than an organizational decision. It is a business philosophy focused on collaboration, quality and long-term impact. The competencies of the four companies, combined into one value chain, allow DIGROUP to become a unique force in the market – a partner that can be trusted at all stages of projects.
